1997 – Founded

Prowling Lions was established by Siraj Ershad in Toronto, Canada, originally under the name Teknik Brothers.

1998

Leveraging his engineering degree, Siraj began selling mechanical seals, catering to critical leakage control industries.

1999

We expanded our offerings to include spare parts, addressing the diverse needs of our growing clientele.

2000

Teknik Brothers relocated to London, England, setting up a small office in East London.

2003

We built a larger client base & conducted research on UK products, ensuring access to high-quality goods.

2004

The first item sourced from our London base was spiral wound gaskets, supplied to a corporation in Egypt.

2010

Teknik Brothers further extended its client base by sourcing for larger corporations & businesses in Dubai, Oman, Seychelles, & Ghana.

2013

Prowling Lions expanded its geographical reach, sourcing products for the first time in Kenya.

2015

We continued to grow our client base, sourcing for even larger corporations across Dubai, Oman, Seychelles, & Ghana.

2016

Prowling Lions underwent significant growth, unveiling a new logo, launching a new website, & expanding our specialist team to meet diverse sourcing requirements.

2020

With the onset of COVID, business operations shifted dramatically—no more office work or traveling to meet clients worldwide. We adapted by working remotely, successfully fulfilling all ongoing orders.

2024

The second generation of the family joins the company. Siraj’s daughter, an engineering graduate with seven years of technical experience in R&D at a global firm, is set to lead exciting new developments as we continue to expand. The journey of the lions prowls on!
