At Prowling Lions, we’ve been proud to support one of the world’s largest tuna canning operations – Indian Ocean Tuna (IOT) – by providing essential electrical spares for their canning plant in the Seychelles. If you’re unfamiliar with IOT, they are a major player in the global tuna industry, producing over 1.5 million cans of tuna per day for consumers around the world.

During our collaboration, we had the opportunity to tour their impressive facility. Wearing our overalls & safety hats, we saw firsthand the precision & scale required to run such an operation smoothly. From the moment the tuna arrives at the plant, every step is carefully managed, from conveyor belts moving the fish to sealing machines ensuring the cans are perfectly airtight.

We provided key components like belt conveyors, electric motors, & temperature control sensors to keep their production line running efficiently. We also supported the automation systems, ensuring the reliability of automated weighing scales, can seamers, & other machinery that plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of production.
